Neeses is a town in Orangeburg County, South Carolina, United States. As of the 2010 census, the population was 377, and it is a part of the Columbia Metropolitan Statistical Area. The town was incorporated in 1950 and is situated along U.S. Route 321, approximately halfway between Columbia and Augusta, Georgia. Neeses is known for its agricultural industry, particularly for peaches, pecans, and cotton. The town also has a public park, Neeses Community Park, which includes a playground, walking trail, and picnic area. Additionally, Neeses is home to several historic homes and sites, including the Neeses Depot Museum and the Neeses Presbyterian Church, both of which are listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
